This review is for #THETOYTOKRI - a fantastic toy-rental service, which I have been using for my son for more than a year now. With prior notification and confirmation every fortnight a different toy reaches our doorstep packed in a sturdy bag and sealed in a box with an information pamphlet which describes the toy, the number of parts/pieces, how to use/operate it and a brief on the learning values such as hand eye coordination, spatial development, observation skills, memory building, problem-resolution etc. The reasons I signed up with The Toy Tokri were the variety in educational, age appropriate (7 months to 7yrs) and yet safe toys that it offers such as puzzles, pretend-play sets, thematic activity sets etc. Additionally, the subscription packages are reasonable (starting at Rs. 500/-), which include options to combine toys and books (1 toy-1 book, or 2 toys 1 book etc). Toys are of established international brands like Lego, Fisher Price, Hape etc. And the real fun factor being no repetition, each time a new one for the child's continued eagerness! In my opinion, however much one tries, all options and varieties of playing material and toys cannot be bought for practical aspects such as space crunch in homes, children outgrowing interest in toys as early as a day or simply monetary reasons! And thus, here comes a service as professional as The Toy Tokri to the rescue with its variations and combinations. would say it not just helps to keep the child meaningfully occupied in exploring it, actually playing with it, but also helps in learning responsible and careful use by the child; as it is important to return the way it was lent. Hemangi, your venture is enriching lives, here's wishing you and The Toy Tokri Team a continued success! To add, no gendered specifications are adhered to in sending toys, which is appreciable especially in context of present times. For example, for my son a kitchen set was sent last year. It was about 2.5 ft in height after assembling. It featured an oven, coffee maker, pots-pans and serve-ware. He enjoyed it very much. Gone are the days that bhatukli is a girl deal!
